Vancouver, WA Exterior Home Painting Experts

SFW Painting is a premier painting contractor in Vancouver, Washington. With over a decade of successful Vancouver home painting projects under our belts, we have a solid reputation for the highest quality home painting in Washington State. As natives of the Pacific Northwest, we are aware of the turbulent weather and the rainforest climate for which this glorious region is so famous. As such, we know how to thoroughly protect and seal your home from the elements.

Attention to Detail Makes All the Difference

As Vancouver exterior home painting experts, we know that the best jobs result from paying attention to the smallest details. Each home is unique, and it is only through taking into consideration the distinct aspects of your home that we perform spectacular painting. Our end goal is your happiness, and that can only come from a job well done through precision and skill. At SFW Painting we pride ourselves on our ability to do just that and to bring the highest levels of satisfaction to our customers. How do we do this?

Exterior Home Painting Begins with The Prep Work

High caliber painting begins with the prep work. First, we pressure wash the exterior of your home to remove all the dirt and grime, the moss, mildew and other detritus that has accumulated over the years. Then we thoroughly scrape the entire exterior painted surface to arrive at a clean and smooth area on which to paint. Throughout this process, we use drop cloths to catch any and all unwanted materials so they can be disposed of safely. In other words, we leave your property looking as good as your home! The prep work also involves sealing your home with NP-150 SONOLASTIC caulking, which protects your home from inundation with moisture and increases the longevity of the final paint product.

Exterior Painting

As a homeowner, there will be a point where you want or need a Vancouver Exterior Painting Contractor painter. New exterior paint on your home will immediately increase its value and add curb appeal.

Interior Painting

The interior painting process must be minimally disruptive to you and your family. As your Vancouver house painter, we will accommodate your busy schedule all year round—including the winter months.

Lead Paint Stabilization

Any home constructed before 1978 may have lead paint. In 1991 the EPA stated that lead-based paint is considered the “number one environmental threat to children’s health in the United States.”

Historic Home Restoration Contractor

Working on historical and vintage homes is a specialized skill set. Understanding the construction methods and materials used for these periods is crucial to these restorations. SFW Painting Contractor specializes in historical home restoration in Portland, Vancouver, and Seattle.

Commercial Painting

When looking for the best contractor for your commercial painting project, there are several key areas that you need to ensure the company your hire possesses.

Through detailed inspection, surface cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming, we lay the groundwork for a finish that is both durable and visually striking.

No, We Can’t Just Paint Over The Rot

2 MIN READ

Painting over rot is a temporary fix that hides but doesn't solve the underlying issue. Rot, caused by prolonged moisture exposure, weakens wood and can lead to structural damage, health hazards, and increased repair costs. Proper treatment involves eliminating moisture sources, removing rotted wood, treating the area, and then repairing and painting the affected parts.
